At Gulf Coast Beekeepers, our mission is simple and regional:
🌴 Provide local support and mentorship to beekeepers in Lee and Charlotte counties
Beekeeping in Southwest Florida is year-round and climate-specific.
We exist to strengthen local knowledge and peer support within our own community.
🌼 Encourage and educate new beekeepers
Starting with bees can feel overwhelming. We aim to create a welcoming environment where beginners can learn foundational principles and build confidence.
🍯 Educate the public about honey bees and responsible beekeeping
Healthy pollinators benefit everyone. We promote awareness of honey bees, their role in agriculture, and responsible hive management throughout the Gulf Coast region of Florida.
